Thank you, Haroon Raseed for Raising your Patriotic Voice!

Haroon Rasheed 1

Dear Sir,

Assalam o alaikum. I’m writing to thank you for your column (published in Dunya 16 Jun, 2013). Thank you very much for standing up for a country where there is no dearth of people so readily available on sale to work against their own country, all for petty dollars.

How and why are we blind to all that India does to Pakistan? BLA, Indian terrorist group, blew up Quaid-e-Azam’s Residency in Ziarat yesterday and yet nobody spoke of India’s involvement in the issue? It was undoubtedly one of the worst days of my life.

PMLN government, like you said, is antsy to just marry India and has chosen to remain oblivious to its nefarious schemes against our motherland. I see no difference between Ch Nisar and Rehman Malik where the latter is a certified agent of MI5 but I find Nisar to be worse because he’s somebody who, supposedly, has been elected. How does he have the audacity to steer clear of India’s involvement in all the terrorist activities going around?
Rather than to put a muzzle on all their cross border terror activities, their sole focus remains point scoring and get in the good books of both their American masters and the Hindu bunya across the border. Instead of calling off all bloody ties with India because of the recent blowing up of the residency, they’re planning to buy electricity from India at a mind boggling Rs. 18 per unit, the same power which together with Mansha and the crazy profit sharks of PMLN can be generated at Rs. 15 per unit within Pakistan but no! They won’t do that or anything else for that matter if it has the slightest bit to do with the welfare of Pakistan. And so they elect to lick Hindu boots, worship the American masters – all for their love of money.

I apologize for my rant but I am so angry at the current state of affairs. Nobody is doing anything to change it but at least you are one of the only few people who at least raise their voice. So I thank you whole heartedly.

Thank you again.
